The Dental Directory has expanded its marketing team with the appointment of Alpana Warke-Vijayaraghavan into the role of marketing manager.
Having held senior marketing roles within Dentsply, Procter and Gamble and Nobel Biocare, Alpana will now take responsibility for implementing integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness across the sector, rolling out the firm’s newly enhanced CRM system and forging stronger partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers.
Alpana says: “The Dental Directory has a second to none reputation within the sector for delivering great service, value for money and a vast product range. However, what really attracted me to this role was the opportunity to join a business which despite considerable growth still holds the values and customer focus of a family run firm with clear direction and ambition to constantly evolve and improve.

In addition to earning a number of diplomas and degrees in marketing gained here in the UK and in Alpana’s native of India, the marketing manager started her career within pharmaceutical sciences - a knowledge base which has given her a genuine clinical insight into the market.

The Dental Directory was founded more than 35 years ago and employs more than 250 people across four UK sites, including a state-of-the-art automated warehouse which houses more than 27,000 product lines that can be delivered across the country the next day.
